What IF...we celebrate individuals and organizations that innovate, imagine, connect, inspire and build community?  We are!

Celebrating Diverse forms of Creativity:

  • The Nikola Tesla Innovation Award will be presented to Dr. Terrance Boult, the El Pomar Endowed Chair of Innovation and Security and Professor of Computer Science, as the visionary behind the Bachelor of Innovation family of degrees at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

    The Starr Kempf Imagination Award will be presented to Steve Wood, Founder and Director of Concrete Couch, for his longstanding commitment to inclusive community engagement and to the broad benefits of art making in service to people and enrichment of community. 

    The Fannie Mae Duncan Entrepreneur Award will be presented to Lisa Tessarowicz, owner of Epicentral Coworking, for her entrepreneurial approach to supporting entrepreneurs and expanding hubs of creativity in the Pikes Peak region.

    The Nick Venetucci Community-Building Award will be presented to Kevin Kratt of Kratt Commercial Properties, for his tenacious vision in developing community spaces that create essential connecting-points in Colorado Springs.

    The Mary Mashburn Connector Award will be presented to Janice Weiland, Executive Vice President at Cascade Investment Group, for her creative approaches to connecting people to resources and to each other, making the Pikes Peak region a more connected and collaborative place.

    The Michael Hannigan Ingenuity Award will be presented to Allen Beauchamp, Adaptive Cycling Specialist, for the ingenious ways he advocates for a healthy, safe, and joyful community through his zeal for bicycling.

Reception 4:30 – 6:30pm    

Ticket ($25) includes light Hors d'oeuvres & one complimentary drink.  In the spirit of What If,  delight in Chef Nick Lachman’s fun, molecular gastronomy tasting, test out your racing skills on one of two CXC Motion Pro II Racing Simulators, and enjoy viewing the stunning car collection.

Awards Ceremony 5:30pm
